1. Production and Order Processing

All garments are handmade to order.
Standard production time: 5–9 business days, depending on the season.
Orders placed on Friday afternoon, weekends, or public holidays are processed on the next business day.
During peak wedding and holiday seasons, production may take slightly longer. We will inform you if any delays occur.

  1. Shipping and Rates

Shipping costs are not included in the product price. They are clearly shown at checkout before the order is confirmed.
We ship worldwide using the following methods:

  • Standard postal shipping: 5–20 business days, depending on the destination. No remote area surcharges apply.
    • Express Worldwide: 3–6 business days after production. Additional fees may apply for delivery to remote areas. If applicable, we will always contact you before shipping.

A tracking number is provided for all shipments.

  1. Customs Duties and Import Taxes

Customs duties, import taxes, or local fees may apply upon delivery in some countries. These fees are not included in the product price and are the buyer’s responsibility.
No customs duties apply for orders shipped within the European Union.
Deliveries to other countries such as the USA, Canada, and the UK may be subject to local customs regulations.

Information for Customers in the United States

Starting August 29, a 15% U.S. import duty applies to orders shipped from the European Union to the United States.

At Linen Occasion, we believe in clarity and a smooth, worry-free experience:

  • All U.S. orders are shipped under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms.
  • At checkout, you will see the product price, a separate line for import duties and taxes (DDP), and the shipping cost.
  • As all duties and taxes are prepaid, your order will be delivered with no additional charges requested by the courier upon delivery.
  1. Size Selection

Our size charts show body measurements, not garment measurements.
We recommend carefully measuring your child or yourself (bust/chest, waist, hips, height) and comparing the numbers with our size chart before placing an order.
Size charts are available for both children’s and adult clothing.

If you are between sizes or unsure which size to choose, feel free to contact us for assistance — we are always happy to help.

  1. Fabric Samples

Due to screen display differences, actual fabric colors may vary slightly.
If you are unsure about the color or texture, fabric samples are available for purchase before ordering.

  1. Returns and Exchanges

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days from the delivery date.
EU customers have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 days, provided the item is not personalized or customized to individual measurements.

Items must be returned in their original condition: unworn, unwashed, free from stains or odors, and with all original tags and packaging.
Home try-on is permitted, but any signs of wear may affect eligibility for return.

If the buyer wishes to exchange for a different size or has changed their mind, the buyer is responsible for both return shipping costs and the cost of reshipping the exchanged item.
If the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, all shipping costs will be covered by Linen Occasion.

Returns must be authorized in advance via email. Unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

If a returned item shows reduced value due to handling beyond necessary fitting, a reasonable reduction may be applied, in accordance with EU consumer regulations.

  1. Non-Returnable Items
  • Items altered to custom measurements
    • Personalized items (including monogramming)
    • Gift cards
  1. Incorrect Address or Unclaimed Packages

If a package cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address or is not collected, no refunds are issued.
If the order is returned to us, reshipping costs must be paid by the buyer.

  1. Lost Packages

A package is considered lost if it has not been delivered within 30 days and no tracking updates are shown.
In such cases, the buyer may choose between a full refund or a free remake and reship of the order.

  1. Refund Process

Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to the original method of payment.
Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

  1. Price Adjustments

Discounts and promotions are valid only at the time of purchase.
No price adjustments or partial refunds are provided on previous orders.
